The CCSPC Graduate College celebrates the #2019GCGames as a finale of the College Intramurals with the theme "A legacy of leadership, unity and passion through sports, culture and the arts competitions" last October 26, 2019 at the gymnasium.
The gymnasium was heated up by two competing teams: the Blue Team and the Pink Team. The Blue Team comprised of 6 programs namely: Doctor of Philosophy in Peace and Development, Doctor of Philosophy in Public Administration, Master of Public Administration, Master of Business Administration, Master of Peace and Development, and Master of Science in Agriculture and Agricultural Extension. While for Pink Team composed of 7 programs namely: Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration, MAED School Administration and Supervision, MAED English, Mastee of Arts in Industrial Education Management, Master of Science in Social Work, Master of Arts in Islamic Studies, and Master of Science in Information Technology. Also, the Administrators, Dean and Program Heads, faculty members, and the Graduate College Student Organization Officers participated in the event.
After the parade, invocation, the singing of national anthem and opening remarks were given followed by statement of purpose delivered by Dr. Sema G. Dilna, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Officer-in-Charge. He also delivered a message in behalf of the College President, Dr. Dammang S. Bantala. The Oath of Amateurism was given by the Vice President for Research, Extension and Production, Dr. Abonawas M. Pendaliday, followed by the Dean of College, Dr. Saidamin P. Bagolong for the official declaration for the opening of #2019GCGames.
Afterwards, cheers from the crowd intensified as the PNP band did an intermission followed by selection of contestants for Mr. and Ms. Intramurals 2019. The event was also graced with the presence of Philippine Red Cross-Cotabato Maguindanao Chapter to ensure that everyone attending is safe.
The events for the #2019GCGames include basketball, volleyball, badminton and chess, and other activities like action relay, singing contest, Pinoy henyo, trip to Jerusalem, spoken poetry, tumbanana and bring me. All these games were participated by both faculty members and graduate college students. Before the day ends, winners of each event was announced.
