Seven (7) undergraduate programs of the Cotabato City State Polytechnic College are subjected to survey visits by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), inc. from November 25 to 28, 2019.
These programs are: Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Bachelor of Science in Community Development, and Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, which are up for 3rd survey ; the Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness and Bachelor of Science in Islamic Education are for 2nd survey; and Bachelor of Science in Fisheries and Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology are due for 2nd survey revisit on Area VI-Extension and Community Development.
Eight (8) accreditors from various State Universities and Colleges in the Philippines were gladly received by Dr. Dammang S. Bantala during a courtesy call at the Office of the President. Dr. Bantala shared to the accreditors the College's support to the AACCUP accreditation to ensure quality education.

In the opening program, Dr. Sema G. Dilna, Vice President of Academic Affairs in his welcome address emphasized that "accreditation is not just to evaluate how prepared the institution is but establishing the quality of programs." Meanwhile, Dr. Bantala, in his message encouraged everyone to actively participate in the accreditation as this will help improve the quality instruction, research and production.
The AACCUP Accreditation Overall Coordinator, Dr. Remedios C. Neroza of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) introduced her team members and their program assignments. Dr. Marcelina H. Ayson of DMMMSU is in-charge of BS Psychology; Asst. Prof. Juan P. Agudera, Jr. of Southern Philippines Agri-business, Marine and Aquatic School of Technology is assigned for BS Agriculture; Dr. Angelita J. Prado of DMMMSU is for BS Community Development; Prof. Teresita B. Bayaron, retired faculty of Davao del Norte State College (DNSC); Prof. Kamarodin A. Abdulkarim of Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) is responsible for BS Islamic Education; Prof. Evelyn J. Lumaday of DNSC is in-charge of BS Fisheries and BS Industrial Technology; and Prof. Maribel B. Libredo of Northwestern Mindanao State College of Science and Technology (NMSCST) will be assigned for library cut across programs.
Dr. Neroza in her message reiterated that "accreditation is voluntary and subjecting to it would mean recognizing the quality of programs." She enumerated the benefits of accreditation as follows: 1) Meeting higher quality, 2) for normative financing, 3) for SUC leveling, and 4) as a means of maintaining quality assurance. She added, "Let's make it a stress-free accreditation, let's do it with a smile."
On the other hand, Dr. Kundo M. Pahm, Director of Quality Assurance presented to the accreditors the local counterpart of the College both institutional and program-based as Accreditation Task Force.
The program ended with the closing remarks delivered by Dr. Mocamad M. Macasayon, Vice President of Administration and Finance. Singing of the CCSPC Hymn followed. // Saidamin P. Bagolong, DPA
